A Very Geri Christmas

This chapter takes place before Olivia discovers she's pregnant.


A very smug Gerard Piqué strolled into the FC Barcelona locker room, looking around in absolute glee. Christmas was just around the corner, and he had set up the perfect holiday prank. He had told no one, not even Olivia or Aina. He had gone through great lengths to ensure its execution.

Hidden in all of the lockers, save his own, was glitter. He had rigged it to dump when a locker was open.

He saw he was not the first player there, but no one had yet opened their locker. He walked to his, and sat on the square with his number on it, slowly removing his shoes.

One by one the players entered, doing the same.

He was disappointed, however, when none of the players opened their lockers, all going about their business as usual. Hoping to prompt them into following suit, he stood, and turned to his locker. He quickly dialed in the combination, and clicked open the lock. With a tug, the door opened.

A large pile of glitter fell out onto him, spilling all over his body and the floor. Even when it stopped raining down, a large pile still remained within the locker.

He sputtered as his teammates laughed loudly behind him. On the back of the locker, a note was taped to the back of the locker, just visible above the large remaining amount of silver glitter. He reached out, and pulled the piece of paper off, opening it to read.
